We currently have a vacancy for a Service Manager Central Europe to be based in either Antwerp (global HQ) or Dessel. This strategic role will be responsible for the information technology services provided and executed in Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany France and Czech Republic.
As a member of the global service delivery team, the Service Manager will be the primary contact within the geography to ensure IT services are delivered to global standards. This will typically be achieved by managing and supporting local business & ICT needs and requirements in relation to IT services and projects, ensuring an appropriate level of end user support.
Ensure that services and the projects related to Business Applications and Infrastructure Solutions are deployed successfully in the local Sibelco entities.
Establish and manage the relationship with local business customers and the alignment with IS Business Partnering Functions.
Manage and maintain local critical applications and infrastructure solutions. Which include: Industrial IT/OT support, weighbridge support, MES and/or SCADA solutions, CCTV systems, specific local connectivity solutions (e.g. wireless systems for dredgers or loaders), etc.
Support Agile and ITIL processes are adhered by applications support teams.
Ensure that IS Service Catalogues are properly established and updated in the context of its geographical scope
Maintain a strong ethical approach to vendors, internal customers, and staff which is aligned with the ethical principles of the company.
Ensure local cost effective solutions are implemented and there is management of existing local contracts (mobile phones, landlines, local internet connections, etc.
Key Attributes Required:
We are looking for a seasoned professional who is keen to work in a global team, making an impact in a dynamic, fast moving environment.
Well versed with the implementation of SDLC, ITSM and Project Management methodologies
Domain knowledge of Manufacturing Industry, preferably Mining.
Understanding of business processes and requirements, and ability to translate these into services that provide business value.
Excellent knowledge of English, both verbal and written.
Graduation/Bachelor degree in a field that is relevant to Information Services or evidence of relevant professional development would be highly desirable.
