Location: Sandbach, Cheshire
As Legal Counsel, you will support Sibelco UK's adherence to: Environmental, Planning, Property and Health and Safety laws and regulations.
As Sustainability Manager you will lead of a team of 5. You and your team will be responsible for delivering leading Sustainability and Environmental performance across the UK's 10 mineral processing sites (12 active silica sand and clay quarries).
You will be the internal expert and project leader of permits, land access rights, property management, compliance and risk management within the environmental field and our representative when interacting with authorities, land neighbours and other stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
Do you have a UK legal background (paralegal, solicitor or similar) with experience in planning/zoning and environmental matters?
Do you understand the callenges and rewards of leading and coaching a team?
Do you enjoy putting your great communication skills to good use out of the office visiting sites and stakholders?
