The location of this role is flexible between Gothenburg, Sweden or Sandvika, Norway but the candidate must be open to regular travel within Europe.
Sibelco currently has a vacancy for an IT Service Manager for Nordics. Reporting to the Service Manager for Europe, you will be responsible for services provided and executed in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Poland. This represents approximately 450 end users spread across 24 locations.
Sibelco operates an outsourced model. So, in this role, you will be responsible for managing the relationship with the supplier to ensure a timely and quality service to the countries within your assigned region.
In alignment with other regional Service Managers and, local and global suppliers you will be designing, implementing and guarding service maps, RACI matrices across suppliers.
The Service Manager is responsible for the IS services provided and executed in the region, this includes managing, representing and supporting:
- Global/regionally delivered IT services (Applications, Workplace, IT Infrastructure, IT/OT, Security etc)
- Local business & ICT needs and requirements in relation to IT services and projects
- Ensure appropriate level of (key-) users support
- Legacy - Local critical applications & infrastructure solutions that will be replaced overtime
As a member of the global service delivery team, the Service Manager will be the primary contact within the geography.
Key Attributes Required:
We are looking for a seasoned Service Management professional, experienced in negotiating in an outsourced model, who understands the needs of the Heavy Industry environment (Mining or similar), and is keen to work in a global team, making an impact in a dynamic, fast moving, environment.
English is the working language within Sibelco however being able to communicate in a (second) language in your region is a prerequisite. We therefore expect a strong working proficiency in both spoken and written English & at least one of the following: Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Dane or Polish.
