We are currently recruiting for a permanent fulltime Export Team Leader to be based at our Corporate Office located in South Brisbane.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this vacancy will enhance the customer experience through effective and efficient customer service delivery with a focus on leading the export team in the delivery of international orders.
The Export Team Leader will support and drive effective customer relationships through delivering market driven, customer focussed support.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Lead and manage the export shipping team and promote a positive customer service culture within the team align to corporate values and behaviours.
- Develop and maintain associated procedures and work instructions associated with the export team.
- Manage customer enquiries and orders ensuring that service is delivered effectively and efficiently in a timely and responsive manner.
- Manage both inbound and outbound (Inside Sales) customer transactions.
- Accountable for pro-actively communicating key updates on customer feedback to customer service team.
- Support the Customer Service Manager and commercial teams where required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate proven experience in leading and coaching a customer service related team. Your vast experience within the export/ shipping industry and solid understanding of the International Chamber of Commerce documentation and processes will see you succeed in this role. You will lead by example in regards to safety, ensuring a culture of zero workplace injuries and employee wellness is maintained.
Your Strong leadership skills that highlight your ability to ensure a cohesive team approach to reaching business objectives will be evident, as will your ability to initiate, contribute to, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
