We are currently recruiting for permanent fulltime Reliability Engineer to be based at our Lime and Limestone quarry and processing plant in Attunga, NSW.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this key role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining tools and strategies to reduce maintenance costs and deliver sustainable improvement in plant availability, on one of our highest margin sites within our Asia Pacific region. Excitingly, for the first 12 months there will also be a requirement for the role to act as the local change agent and support the delivery of improvement projects on the site, to assist in unlocking its true potential.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Implement a process to capture data on maintenance performance and work history to monitor and report on maintenance KPI's and provide improvement recommendations for the Production and Maintenance teams. 
  • Define the scope of improvement projects and lead maintenance projects to deliver the business improvement. 
  • Lead the application of analysis tools in maintenance handbook to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Lead the development of the equipment maintenance strategy in-line with plant critically analysis 
  • Champion 5's to support site personal to remove process waste and improve efficiency.
  • Participate actively in projects site, providing reliability input for the design, specification and purchase phase.
  • Actively support and lead safety and environmental initiatives within the business. 
  • Act as the local change agent for 12months and support the delivery of improvement projects

The successful candidate will hold a relevant tertiary qualification that is supported by proven experience within a similar Reliability Engineer role, in a manufacturing and processing environment – essential.  Demonstrated experience in Reliability Engineering principles and with the root cause failure analysis will be highly advantageous. You will lead by example in regards to safety, ensuring a culture of zero workplace injuries and employee wellness is maintained.

Your strong communication skills that highlight your ability to ensure a cohesive team approach to reaching business objectives will be evident, as will your ability to initiate, contribute to, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
