We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Project Manager to be based at our North Sydney Office on fixed term contract of up to 12 months.
Reporting to the Service Manager, Lime & Magnesia, this versatile position will manage and execute Infrastructure projects and related IS Services within the Sibelco Lime and Magnesia businesses. This includes managing projects according to agreed roadmaps, plans and budgets and influencing a broad range of stakeholders to support them with ensuring the successful, secure and on time deployment of solutions.
- Provide input into technology solutions and ensure that selected technology integrates effectively with other aspects of our technical infrastructure.
- Collaborate, guide, direct our 3rd party infrastructure providers to meet service expectations, deliver required infrastructure solutions and to coordinate project activities of internal and external project team members.
- Manage project resources, maintain and progress to work package scope detailing costs, resources and timelines.
- Ensure selected technology solutions and projects adequately manage risk and enable competitive advantage.
The successful candidate should possess formal qualifications in IT or a related discipline, Project Management certification and/or demonstrated experience with embedded experience relating to delivery of infrastructure projects. Domain knowledge of the mining industry is preferred, not essential though a hands on mindset with practical experience with IT services and IT solutions is essential. The role requires strong interpersonal and influencing skills and modelling Sibelco's key behaviors of building positive relationships, speak up, explore possibilities and deliver on promise.
