We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Full-time Maintenance Fitter to be based at our Riverton Limestone Plant located near Tenterfield, New South Wales. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will assist in the regular maintenance, modification, repair and unscheduled breakdown rectification services for the processing fixed plant and equipment.
Ordinarily this will be a day shift Monday to Friday role however you will be required to work on the occasions that unforeseen breakdowns occur, whereby overtime will be accrued.
The successful applicant will have:
- A trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter with preventative maintenance and fault finding experience in a mining or industrial industry is preferred. Qualified boilermakers with requisite skills may also apply
- Experience with Crushing and Screening equipment as well as sound welding and fabrication skills would be highly regarded.
- A current manual driver's license is required; Front End Loader and Heavy Rigid Truck licence are preferred.
- Confined Space, Working at Heights, EWP, Dogman, First Aid and Low Voltage Rescue competence would all be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will have a good foundation understanding of the concepts of preventative maintenance and condition monitoring and will have a positive attitude towards safety with an ability to demonstrate leadership in this area. You will also have a commitment to Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental requirements and legislation, and will be successful at working as part of a team.
